About Me

I’m Joel Martinez, a photographer and videographer based in Franklin, New Jersey. Born in The Bronx and raised in Monroe, NY, I spent my early years exploring the vibrant streets of NYC, and while I now call New Jersey home, I visit the city often. I’m also a proud dad and share a birthday with my son!

I hold a degree in Communication from the University at Buffalo - SUNY, where I discovered my love for photography, and I’m a proud member of NYC Prime Shot. With over 500 projects completed, from weddings to dynamic events, my goal is to capture the beauty, grace, strength, and enthusiasm of people. I focus on photographing non-models, creating moments that highlight who they are in genuine, powerful ways. I strive for a sense of integrity and fortitude in every shot.
